I have had a whole lot of experience dealing with contractors and I can say I would recommend this company to anyone.  I was stunned when I realized the amount of time and relentless effort the team and especially Chris would put into every last detail of my bathroom remodel.  Honestly I was intimidated prior to starting my bathroom remodel.  I knew I wanted a high end job but had no idea where to begin.  Chris and his lovely wife Angela walked me through every step of the way.  I was also IMPRESSED with the way they built from scratch my custom built basin.  I must have talked to 4 other contractors about this project and Chris was the only one that smiled and said "that's easy"..  The bottom line is this company built me a top notch high end  bathroom at a very fair price and they finished way ahead of schedule!  Hire him....  you will not regret it! I am very pleased I called More for Less to rehab my old bathroom shower enclosure. Everyone on More for Less crews was professional, courteous and friendly, highly skilled and dedicated to giving me the best possible product. Ripping out the old shower created a LOT of dust and debris but the workers did everything possible to minimize the mess - like positioning tarps from my garage to the bathroom to protect the carpets and vacuuming all the floors every afternoon before they left. My short review is “These guys are good - use ‘em!”  My long review is . . . As an architect, I’ve worked with dozens of contractors on hundreds of projects over several decades.  More for Less is definitely in the top tier.  They have the basics covered - Chris has great employees and motivated subcontractors and they deliver a high-quality finished product.  They respect the fact that this is your home, and not just a construction site.

Besides an unexpected level of attention to detail, one big thing that stood out on our project was a surprising lack of change orders.  Our kitchen remodel project proved that this was definitely “not their first rodeo”.  Remodel projects are inherently challenging because you never know, for sure, what you’ll find when you open up the walls (and we found a few).  More for Less was able to anticipate many of them and build those costs into their initial bid.

Our project was also a bit challenging because we wanted to blend a mid-century-modern vibe / design feel with both contemporary and retro materials and details in a 60-year-old tract home - it wasn’t just new cabinets and granite countertops.  Being in the design field, I knew how to source the materials, but it took Chris’ team to put them all together.

The other big thing that stood out was during the project close-out / punch list stage.  There were several small issues (as there always are) that were most likely the result of miscommunication.  Unlike many contractors, More for Less simply fixed the problems, with no discussion and no pushback.  Bottom line, they made a stressful experience (especially for my wife) less stressful and were able deliver the custom kitchen that we really wanted.
